1912. Pasqualina – rather aunt Pasqualina – was, back in her day, a beautiful young blond with green eyes.
This is how the first chapter starts in the book that tells the story of a family that has revolved around one place for four generations ("Le cento Pasqualine. Un viaggio nel gusto dal 1912").
The inn that was the hang out for hunters in the Almenno San Bartolomeo countryside in the early 1900s, is now the place where the tradition of love for catering and passion lives on.

Once upon a time...
Once upon a time... The fairytale history of a place like la Pasqualina could only begin like this where the destinies of many generations, many people and a single family were woven together. A fairytale that started exactly one century ago, in 1912, when la Pasqualina was someone's name before becoming a place.

It was the year 1963...
At that time the Rifugio Cacciatori Pasqualina was certainly not the only inn in town, but it was the only one to have a TV. And more or less the entire town learned the news of the death of Pope John XXIII on that small screen. The inn was filled again a few months later in the November of the same year when everybody was glued to the screen to see the images of Kennedy's assassination.

Grandpa Luigi...

From fashion to cinema to TV. Sincere and close friendships were made with some of these famous celebrities. They are often guests at Pasqualina where they are treated without too much fuss, as if they were family. It was Rosa's most intimate world, the place she was most attached to.

The first of January, 1995
It was the first of January, 1995, and Riccardo was twenty-six - the world was a different place. Because Pasqualina became his on that day. He would be the one to decide its future and build it day after day.
